During lockdown 2021, I visited the Co-op store at Denmark Hill, London. I noticed the Security guard at the entrance wearing his mask with his nostrils exposed, breathing onto every customer who enters. Another Co-op staff member stacking shelves, wearing his mask around his neck and a further Co-op staff member wearing her mask with her nostrils exposed. Disgraceful behaviour during a coronavirus pandemic!!Photos were uploaded to Instagram the_UK_whistleblower

I ordered an online shop that didnt go through due to a glitch in the system..the payment was still status pending despite getting no food...ive to wait 7-10 days before that can go back into my card balance..7-10 days before I can feed myself...I was told it'd be resolved but nope..im left to call pillar to post and suffer anxiety issues so instead having to starve myself....it was CO OPs fault Not mine

Cullercoats store is amazing staff are so friendly especially Steven and chi chi there always happy to help with a smile and a bit off a chat.there delivery service is the best always delivered on time within 2 hours.I got another customers order by mistake rang shop manager delivered my order within minutes.great customer service.this store has to be the best in the northeast from helpful to friendly.

Used to have a great range of Gluten Free food. But recently the range has been cut down. Really liked the warburton gluten free bread, but now left with what can only be decribed as corregated cardboard in your own brand. Disgusted.

Chatterton Road Co-op is handy for locals but most staff don't even use 'please' or 'thank you'. Queues always so long as till staff so slow.

Delivered on time brilliant friendly service. From cullercoats store thank you lovely people so helpful through lockdown.

We have two food shops in our village, just yards away from each other. Unfortunately, they are both co-op stores. Have just returned from one, there were approximately 30 customers in a tiny store with no social distancing in place or limits on the amount of people permitted to be in the store at any one time. In the future, I shall be driving to a larger supermarket with more space, more choice & proper regulations in place. If I am stopped by the police, I shall tell them that it is not safe to shop locally. The co-op are clearly trying to corner the market, but they should at least put the safety of their customers first.

Ordered delivery for Xmas eve, delivery never showed up. Got promise of a phone call back which never happened. Phoned a second time, on hold for nearly 15 minutes to be told driver couldn't find address so order cancelled. I have had several other orders from shopping online delivered with no problem, despite the coop where delivery is coming from only 2 miles away a very poor and unsatisfactory experience.

I bought a box of Choco ice for my early gran for her to call me and say she just opened the pack to find half a one in the box although the box was closed

I understand that the Co-op recently threatened to withdraw advertising from "The Spectator" because some Co-op management staff didn't agree with the politics or philosophy of a writer published in "The Spectator". These staff members obviously have a very weak grasp of the concepts of Democracy and Free Speech, and would perhaps be happier managing retail operations in China or Russsia.

I got talking to a very kind staff member of the Co Op called ISLAM in the Strand London branch. He was very helpful. He could see i was struggling a bit, as i have arthritis. He seems a very sensitive man. I feel the staff also need a bit of support when they’re stacking shelves.
